Card Description
“Pokémon card back with Poké Ball artwork; no descriptive text.”
— From card back
Front
Centering Measurements
Perfect centering: front left/right measures approximately 52/48 and top/bottom approximately 52/48, with neither axis exceeding the 55/45 threshold. The silver frame remains nearly even around the illustrated area.
Back
Centering Measurements
Perfect centering: the back blue border measures approximately 52/48 left/right and 52/48 top/bottom. The Poké Ball design and outer frame show no meaningful shift.
Front Side
Corner Close-ups (Front)
Corners
7/10The upper-left corner meets the silver frame cleanly; close inspection shows a sharp apex without confirmed whitening or rounding.
At the HP and Grass-symbol side, the top-right corner retains crisp geometry with the silver border reaching the tip.
The lower-left corner beside the weakness panel appears pointed and intact, with no visible fiber exposure or compression.
The retreat-area corner maintains a clean pointed profile and uninterrupted green border at the apex.
Location: front top-left corner
Visible pale cardstock exposure and roughness run along the top and left cut edges near the rounded corner.
View magnified evidence photoLocation: front top-right corner
A visible light cardstock line runs along the top edge and around the rounded corner.
View magnified evidence photoLocation: front bottom-left corner
Visible pale, rough cardstock exposure runs along the bottom edge and rounded corner.
View magnified evidence photoLocation: front bottom-right corner
A visible pale cardstock exposure line runs along the bottom edge approaching the rounded corner.
View magnified evidence photoAnalysis: All four front corners were examined at the available image resolution for fiber exposure, rounding, lift, and compression. The silver and green frame colors remain continuous to each sharp apex, with no confirmed corner defects. Magnified zoom inspection subsequently found: moderate whitening (top-left corner); moderate whitening (top-right corner); moderate whitening (bottom-left corner) +1 more — this score reflects those findings.
Edges
8/10The top edge runs across the silver frame and green name area with a straight, continuous cut and no confirmed whitening or chipping.
Along the lower green text panel, the bottom edge remains even and intact without visible fiber breaks or roughness.
The left edge beside the evolving-from panel and forest artwork shows a clean perimeter with no confirmed exposed cardstock.
The right edge alongside the HP symbol and lower retreat section appears smooth and unchipped from end to end.
Location: front top edge
A continuous pale, rough cardstock line is visible along the dark top edge.
View magnified evidence photoLocation: front top edge
A continuous light cardstock exposure line is visible along the top cut edge.
View magnified evidence photoLocation: front top edge
Visible pale cardstock exposure runs along the top edge and into the rounded corner.
View magnified evidence photoLocation: front bottom edge
A visible pale, rough cardstock line runs along the bottom cut edge.
View magnified evidence photoAnalysis: All four front edges were scanned from corner to corner for whitening, chipping, fuzzing, and roughness. The silver-and-green perimeter appears straight and continuous, with no confirmed edge defects. Magnified zoom inspection subsequently found: moderate whitening (top edge); moderate whitening (top edge); moderate whitening (top edge) +1 more — this score reflects those findings.
Surface
10/10No analysis available
Analysis: The illustrated Thwackey surface and green text field retain consistent print and sheen, with no confirmed handling scratch, scuff, indentation, or holo disruption. Reflected highlights were treated as lighting rather than defects.
Back Side
Corner Close-ups (Back)
Corners
8/10The physical top-left back corner, corresponding to the mirrored right side of the back image, remains angular with uninterrupted blue edge color.
The physical top-right back corner shows a defined point against the blue frame and no confirmed white fiber exposure.
The physical bottom-left back corner retains its sharp outline beside the blue border and white Poké Ball field.
The physical bottom-right back corner appears flat and well-defined, with the blue perimeter extending cleanly around the tip.
Analysis: The four physical back corners were checked independently for whitening, rounding, lift, and impact marks. Each maintains a clean angular profile against the blue border, with no confirmed handling wear. Magnified inspection adjusted this face to 8/10 — see the limiting factors and condition summary above.
Edges
9/10The upper blue back edge is straight and consistently colored, without an isolated white fleck or rough cut visible.
The lower blue perimeter beneath the Poké Ball design remains smooth and uninterrupted across its visible length.
The physical left back edge, appearing on the right side of the back photograph, shows an even blue cut with no confirmed coating loss.
The physical right back edge, appearing on the left side of the back photograph, maintains a clean blue boundary and straight profile.
Analysis: The back perimeter was inspected with the horizontal mirror relationship accounted for. Each blue edge appears smooth, straight, and free of confirmed whitening, chipping, or fuzzing. Magnified inspection adjusted this face to 9/10 — see the limiting factors and condition summary above.
Surface
10/10No analysis available
Analysis: The back artwork remains uniform across the blue and white regions, with no confirmed surface damage or contamination. Broad reflective areas lack the defined boundaries of physical scratches or scuffs.
