Front
Centering Measurements
This card’s artwork runs to the edge with no even printed border, so there is no border ratio to measure. Centering is not counted against the grade on a design like this. Perfect. The full-art front has no structural border for ratio measurement, and the internal artwork placement appears balanced across both axes.
Back
Centering Measurements
Perfect. The blue Pokémon-back field is closely aligned within the yellow frame, measuring approximately 52/48 left-right and 51/49 top-bottom.

Corner Close-ups (Front)
Corners
9/10The upper-left silver frame terminates in a sharp-looking point with no confirmed white fiber or rounding visible through the holder.
At the upper-right near the HP area, the silver corner remains angular and shows no confirmed lift, bend, or coating loss.
The lower-left corner beside the Japanese text area retains its pointed outline; no physical whitening is confirmed at the available resolution.
The lower-right corner near the retreat-cost panel appears crisp and flat, with no visible rounding or fiber exposure.
Analysis: All four front corners appear sharp and flat through the semi-rigid holder. No confirmed fiber exposure, rounding, lift, or bend is visible. This face shows 9/10 because the overall grade is held at 9: part of the card is outside the photo (back top-right), so that area could not be inspected.
Edges
9/10The upper silver edge above the Riolu name is straight and visually continuous, with holder glare but no confirmed card whitening.
The lower edge beneath the copyright line appears even and intact; the bright horizontal reflection is consistent with the holder rather than card chipping.
The left silver perimeter beside the city artwork remains straight with no confirmed roughness, fuzzing, or exposed cardstock.
The right edge alongside the rooftop artwork is cleanly outlined, with no physical white flecks distinguishable from the holder reflection.
Analysis: The visible front perimeter appears smooth and unchipped. Holder reflections limit fine inspection slightly, but no confirmed card-edge defect is visible. This face shows 9/10 because the overall grade is held at 9: part of the card is outside the photo (back top-right), so that area could not be inspected.
Surface
9/10No analysis available
Analysis: No confirmed scratch, scuff, indentation, staining, or holo disruption is visible on the front. The reflective pattern remains continuous around the Riolu artwork and Japanese text. This face shows 9/10 because the overall grade is held at 9: part of the card is outside the photo (back top-right), so that area could not be inspected.
Back Side
Corner Close-ups (Back)
Corners
9/10The physical upper-left back corner, adjacent to the yellow frame and green energy symbol, appears pointed with the yellow coating extending cleanly to the tip.
The upper-right back apex beside the lightning symbol shows a clean angular profile without visible white chipping.
The lower-left back corner near the fighting symbol remains defined against the yellow border, with no apparent softening.
The lower-right back corner at the edge of the blue field appears flat and intact; no corner material loss is visible.
Analysis: The four back corners retain sharp geometry against the yellow border. No confirmed whitening, rounding, compression, or corner lift is visible. This face shows 9/10 because the overall grade is held at 9: part of the card is outside the photo (back top-right), so that area could not be inspected.
Edges
9/10The yellow top edge above the Pokémon logo is continuous and free of visible breaks or rough fibers.
Along the lower yellow border, the cut line appears straight with no confirmed whitening or material loss.
The physical left back edge bordering the blue field shows an unbroken yellow strip and no visible edge chipping.
The opposite yellow edge remains smooth and even from corner to corner, with no confirmed fuzzing or white flecks.
Analysis: All four back edges appear clean, straight, and intact against the yellow border. No confirmed whitening, chipping, roughness, or delamination is visible. This face shows 9/10 because the overall grade is held at 9: part of the card is outside the photo (back top-right), so that area could not be inspected.
Surface
9/10No analysis available
Analysis: The back surface is visually clean across the blue field, logo area, Poké Ball, and energy symbols. Reflection and image texture do not form a confirmed physical defect. This face shows 9/10 because the overall grade is held at 9: part of the card is outside the photo (back top-right), so that area could not be inspected.
