Front Side
Corner Close-ups (Front)
Corners
9/10The upper-left yellow border meets in a defined point with no confirmed fiber exposure or rounding visible.
The upper-right corner retains a crisp yellow apex; no lift, compression, or white cardstock exposure is visible.
The lower-left corner appears pointed against the pale yellow frame, with no visible softening or edge break.
The lower-right yellow corner is intact and flat, with no clearly resolved whitening or rounding.
Analysis: Front corners retain sharp geometry and lie flat in the image. The yellow border reaches each apex without confirmed fiber exposure, rounding, or structural lifting. Magnified inspection adjusted this face to 9/10 — see the limiting factors and condition summary above.
Edges
8/10The upper yellow edge is straight and continuous, with no confirmed chipping or fiber exposure.
The lower yellow perimeter remains clean across the visible length; no isolated white flecks are resolved on the card edge.
The left yellow edge presents a smooth factory-cut line from corner to corner without visible fuzzing or whitening.
The right yellow edge is even alongside the artwork and text areas, with no confirmed coating loss.
Analysis: Front edges appear straight, smooth, and free of clearly visible whitening or chipping. Bright marks in the surrounding brown background are not part of the card. Magnified inspection adjusted this face to 8/10 — see the limiting factors and condition summary above.
Surface
10/10No analysis available
Analysis: The front holographic surface appears clean across the artwork, text panel, and yellow frame. Pattern variation is consistent with the intended holo effect rather than surface damage.
Back Side
Corner Close-ups (Back)
Corners
8/10The physical upper-left back corner, corresponding to the mirrored right side of the photo, maintains a clean blue point without visible material loss.
The physical upper-right back corner appears square and smooth against the blue border, with no confirmed whitening.
The physical lower-left back corner shows a defined blue apex and no observable bend, lift, or exposed cardstock.
The physical lower-right back corner remains intact with a clean blue outline and no resolved rounding.
Location: back top-left corner
Visible white cardstock exposure and rough flecking along the outer top-left corner and adjacent blue edge.
View magnified evidence photoAnalysis: Back corners appear sharp and structurally flat. Glare is present on the surrounding surface, but no physical corner whitening, bending, or lifting is confirmed. Magnified zoom inspection subsequently found: moderate whitening (top-left corner) — this score reflects those findings.
Edges
7/10The physical top blue edge is straight and uninterrupted, with no resolved white cardstock exposure.
The physical bottom blue edge remains continuous beneath the inverted logo, without visible chips or rough fibers.
The physical left back edge, appearing on the right side of the mirrored photograph, shows a clean blue cut line.
The physical right back edge appears smooth against the blue border, with no confirmed edge whitening.
Location: back bottom edge
Small scattered pale flecks are visible along the dark blue bottom cut edge.
View magnified evidence photoLocation: back top edge
A few small white flecks are visible along the dark blue top cut edge.
View magnified evidence photoLocation: back left edge
Several small white flecks and uneven fiber exposure are visible along the dark blue left cut edge.
View magnified evidence photoAnalysis: The back perimeter is visibly intact and straight. Reflection and glare affect portions of the photograph, but no physical chipping, fuzzing, or whitening is confirmed. Magnified zoom inspection subsequently found: moderate whitening (bottom edge); faint whitening visible only under magnification (top edge); moderate whitening (left edge) — this score reflects those findings.
Surface
10/10No analysis available
Analysis: The back surface appears clean in the blue border, logo area, and central Poké Ball design. Bright streaks and marks in the surrounding background are photographic or surface-background artifacts, not confirmed card defects.
